By simply planting more trees and stop cutting them. The Philippine government been launching programs on Tree Planting through it’s different sectors. But why despite of these Tree Planting programs still we need to plant more trees? Let’s put an example, an agency are required to direct their constituents to plant trees each once a year or twice, in a group of 30 people only 7 will actually plant trees but all 30 of them will claim and document that they planted trees as required. And all 30 of them will even post it on social media, how ironic but this really happen most of the time.

This is sad, being homeless, jobless away from your homeland. Just to think they went there for greener pastures and opportunities that the wealthy land can offer them but end up in the streets. Maybe some of them are afraid to tell their families back home what are their current situation right now. We hope the Philippine and the U.S. government would help them, maybe give some job opportunities for those who doesn’t wish to go back home in the Philippines.

This is possible, staying there illegally. Also maybe pandemic just hit them hard and end up living in the box city. Almost everywhere people are losing their jobs because of pandemic. Lots of companies businesses has been shut down temporarily, but some didn’t make it and permanently close..which resulted to hundreds to thousands, if not more, of jobless. I could only wish they can bounce back and fight the current situation they are in

Yes..even me, I am still hesitating whether I will be in favor of face to face. I worry about risks in exposing him to the virus and to consider that they can’t receive the vaccine yet, and kids are less likely to follow strict health protocols especially when outside with peers and doing their thing and all. But on the other hand, last year’s modular and blended learning was really a challenge for me as a working mom, I’ll be away for work for how many days and their classes was really more on modular than online discussion. If I’m at work my son would just be doing ML game and forgot about the module😤 and because I cannot always be there to discuss his lessons sometimes we cannot finish it on time. Though grades are all passing, thanks to internet, I doubt if he learns half of what he can learn in school with face to face classes.

including myself, work is very time demanding.

I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I feel bad for parents who has limited education and can hardly teach their kids at home and those that need to prioritize putting food on the table than teaching their kids because they cannot do otherwise.

Very true yen.

This is for real. So I suggest people should not over use phones and gadgets.

When we can’t avoid cellphones because of our work especially now that almost everything is online, it won’t be too hassles to pause for few minutes every now and then just to give a minute of rest to our eyes and brain.

I agree that face to face is way better than the modular.
-
I agree with you. But how about the risks of exposing them to COVID? especially those that cannot receive the Vaccine?
-
I agree with that, the hassles are real. But how about the risks of exposing then to COVID-19 infection? We know kids are kids, there’s a higher risks for them to acquire COVID.

Though radiation level from cellphones are low still if too much exposure can cause health problems, like eye strain, headaches and etc. Better if we’ll use it properly and only if necessary and we should avoid over use, give time for our eyes to rest.
