@Viang Rignt Viang, if a seller or vendor (who is an active member of MyCoolChat.com) would like to post their items that they may be selling on MyCoolChat.com. we can create a space for each possible vendor’s products which would be just a little like Lazada 😀

@May Agreed with you assessment May, and to just add a bit to it, I would just say that people who need to support their family by going to a foreign country that they never been to should try to tl least research the pros, cons, and the possible danger from bad employers that be awaiting them.

For example, Saudi Arabia is a well know country that appears to have a lot of negative issues when it comes to OFW. On the other hand, Canada and the Untied States appears to have the least issues in that regard.

In my opinion, and for the sake of the family that I am leaving behind to work overseas, I would try my best to pick a country to work in that I have the best chance of surviving, and returning to my love ones.

Now understanding that everyone does not have the luxury of being picky because of the desire to quick need to get some that badly needed income flowing back to the family fast, that the risk must sometimes be ignored.

In those cases, I would at least make multiple copies of my passport, and place copies in a safe place such as a bank, or a friend who work for someone else just in case my passport is taken (confiscated) by my employer with devious intent to imprison, harm, enslave, etc.

I then could bring those copies of my passport to the Philippines embassy or consulate if ever the opportunity to escape present itself.

Homeliness does not have to happen if one really plans ahead for every possible contingency such as to always having enough cash stashed to make it back home, or to a friend home far away from where one will work.

In the United States there is plenty of free money floating around for non-citizens by states, and or the U.S. Government.

    Note:

Please keep your post and replies (on serious topics to at lease five or more sentences.

@May Sounds like a simple yet fulfilling quick food choice as a comfort food. Quick, and easy to make, and many ways to to eat the various types of bread choices out there in the market place wit the equally amount of coffee choices.

It is very soothing experience to eat one of the many variety of breads out there, many available
Quick and Easy Coffee Bread Recipe to match the desire for bread coffee combo.

Some people like to dunk their bread, and get it a little soggy, and others eat the bread a bit first, and then sip that delicious coffee down. ☺

    Nice comfort food May.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • @May Great point May. If we the people are provided with true factual information backed by the science, then many of those who are undecided could possible be convinced to get the jab.

The science in regards to the vaccine is new, ongoing, and changes quite frequently with newly discovered facts of cases that have positive or negative impacted experiences from being administered by the vaccine.

This can be expected as the vaccines for COVID-1- were created under an emergency plan and rush to market (normally tale years to evaluate) so major issues if concern are to be expected.

  • @viang Being a responsible person in that regards, may help to save so many lives.

So very true, and some don’t make it back home alive because of some bad and very dangerous employers who mistreat and physically abuse so many Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) which is such a tragedy Erma.

Hopefully, one day your country will have enough high paying jobs that so many Filipinos will no longer need to leave their families and home just to make ends meat.

This possibility could be a reality Erma because South Korea was a very poor country when I was there years ago; most houses were make out of grass or Nepa hut style. Now Korea is one of the richest economies in the world.

Philippines will one day be on top as well 🙏

@erma Hopefully enough MyCoolChat.com members will become qualified in the regular competition so they can be part of a voting survey to make that happen Erma 😉

  • @erma Yes, the key word is choice, and that should always be the word of the day in a free society. Just like any other choice to smoke, drink alcohol, mountain climbing etc. people can make up their own minds to do it or not. This should be especially our rights when it comes to putting a vaccine in our body.

Yes to your point about vaccinated people that have caught the virus appears to have less severe symptoms than those who have not been vaccinated and caught the visas.

No Zombies’ from the Walking Dead should not make people afraid of the jab 😅

Yes, the vaccines has help us to get back to a normal life as we have know it to be in the past, just like other virus that civilization has endured such as the bubonic plague (also known as Black Death) killed untold millions of Europeans during the Middle Ages.

@erma You are absolutely right, Filipino and other people who find themselves homeless is not just limited to the United States, it is basically an issue in most countries which is a shame. With so many wealthy people on this earth, there should not be one homeless person in existence, in my opinion.

Facebook, Amazon Lazada, and other huge companies claimed to care about the people on this planet, yet with there vast resources, it appears little has been done in many years which translated into a positive changed.

Yes Erma, it is a very sad situation to see and hear about our fellow human beings homeless, starving in many cases, and the lack of shelter sometimes equals a deadly outcome.

@erma Yes, it is nice when a website and or app can help one find true love which hopefully XoomDating.com will help some achieve that goal if desired.

Only time will tell if this can happen on XoonDating.com , other dating sites and if it does, app featuring will be added in the future. Just like in real life, two people looking for true love will need to experience each other on a personal level by actually dating, experiencing some type of adventures together, seek out each other’s interest, hopes and dreams, and have similar communality in there desired life’s goals.

When all or most of these attributes align, true live is usually the result in my opinion.

    Thank you.

@Jhane I think that many people like one of you favorite foods called , and I understand why. It is a wonderful looking dish, and when presented in the way that you have described, it looks so delicious. Champorado is another great Filipino sticky rice dish, and when it is complimented with Toyo, the combination is a very tasty dish, and a very nice comfort food.

    Thank you for sharing Jhane.
